Business Challenge
SITA engaged Resource Advisory to develop its municipal database and to undertake an extensive market research exercise across 230
Local Governments throughout Queensland, Western Australia, Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales. SITA were interested in
understanding the Municipal and Advanced Waste Technology (AWT) markets and the status of Local Government activity in regard to
waste and resource recovery.
Resource Advisory's engagement involved developing and administering 230 telephone interviews to gather the data, migrating this
information to the SITA database and then undertaking a series of in-depth qualitative interviews with stakeholders to understand specific issues.

Qualitative Interviews
For sensitive and complex issues, we undertook a series of in-depth interviews with external stakeholders to identify market opportunities and issues.
