Business Challenge
Kimbriki Environmental Enterprises (KEE) contacted Resource Advisory to request a "Community Communication" regarding the proposed development
activity at the existing site at Mona Vale in Sydney. With plans to develop an Alternative Waste Treatment (AWT) Facility to enhance resource
recovery, social and environmental outcomes, Kimbriki needed to simplify a 'complex' message to communicate the plans effectively.
Resource Advisory's engagement was to author and produce an initial communication. Since this time, Resource Advisory has established a long
term working partnership with Kimbriki, who are working to create a new benchmark in AWT in Sydney.

Services, Solution and Strategy
Resource Advisory undertook the following activity:
Community Brochure
We developed the first community brochure to illustrate and clearly articulate the development plans for local residents.
Website
We wrote and facilitated all content discussions, designed and developed the website with a content management system for ongoing internal management.
This included a 'unique' intra-site feature for the Kimbriki Eco House and Garden.
Branding Manual
We authored and managed the execution of a Branding Manual to ensure a consistent application of brand.
Stakeholder Engagement
We worked with the CEO and Projects Manager to plan and deliver key messages to local government stakeholders (General Managers) whose decisions
determine the viability of on-site work. As part of this we pitched communications to the Kimbriki Board and designed project-specific posters to
simplify the complex messages for all stakeholders.
Team Building
We held an off-site team-building workshop for the senior management team and to uncover common ground, values and pathways to the KEE vision.
Crucial Conversations
We arranged for delivery of Crucial Conversations, a two-day event focused on effective dialogue, intended to improve Kimbriki's capacity to achieve strategic reuslts.
Strategic Planning
In partnership with the CEO, we authored and managed the Strategic Plan 2012-2016.
Fact Sheets
We co-authored and edited a series of Fact Sheets to support the ecological education objectives that underpin Kimbriki's operation.
Outcome/Results
Kimbriki has successfully engaged all four General Managers in the stakeholder engagement phase and is set for a successful execution of new systems
and processing by 2014. This sets a benchmark for collaborative communication and a strong foundation for the project from 2014 and beyond. The Eco
House and Garden precinct has attracted new and more commercial interests that may enhance on-site cash flow and profile in coming years.
